  What is Intermediate Rent?

Intermediate rented housing or Rent to HomeBuy, is a form of tenure provided by Registered Social Landlords (Housing Associations) where the rents are approximately 80% of those for private rented sector housing but above traditional social housing rents.

It is aimed at people who are mostly in employment and meet the financial criteria to afford higher rents than those residents who are eligible for social housing.

The benefit of this form of renting allows greater security of tenure than private rented housing.

With some properties you can rent for up to three years with the option to buy under the New Build HomeBuy scheme.

To view the intermediate rent properties please click on the ‘Home search’ button and go to ‘Rental Properties
